How many buys does Mayweather-Bradley do? Because that's the only way we can compare. IMO.

You're right but you cant do a fair comparison on ppv #'s when one card is stacked with 4 stars against a card with 1 star.

Pac/Bradley is on par with Floyd/Ortiz. Too bad the Floyd/Ortiz #'s were never officially released. Lets see if HBO releases the Pac/Bradley #'s.

Could have helped but the most important was Floyd's opponent. Cotto is well known while Bradley isn't. If Manny fought someone who was well known but had no chance to win then people would be saying that Manny "cherry picked". Bradley was no "cherry pick".

Goes both ways ...... Same kind of promo happens with Floyd's fights .... get a DeWalt tool and you can get the fight for free for those who took advantage of that. There have been beer promos as well in the past.

I would say some where between 1 and 1.2 million. Floyd really can sell a fight a lot better than Manny can, especially this version of Manny.

Buying a Dewalt tool and getting a rebate is different than buying a $10 12 pack and getting $40 back in the mail, most people are going to drink during the fight anyway so there is no loss with the beer.

Just as Arum planned, 900K+ buys pretty good for a no name opponent in Bradley, Now the world knows who Bradley is so Arum expects the rematch to do even better..

Good job Arum, bamboozle the public into making Bradley a household name even if it means ruining the record of your Top Fighter.

Wow. Really not bad considering this is one of the least promoted fights of Pacman. Which didn't make sense to me considering Bradley is barely a household name in boxing. In contrast, Marquez, who is relatively famous, was massively promoted. We saw Pacman singing in Mexico, went to Washington, interviewed on CNN, etc.

                      a. I dont believe what Arum says..hes a known liar.
                      b. If the numbers were 900k, that is not too bad.
                      c. (to the above poster) If it were Floyd vs Bradley the numbers would be atleast 300-400k more...
