I love Martinez and even considered ordering the fight to support him but Im tired of Top Rank and Arum stealing my money with their schemes and robberies. I thought about it and if I get this fight the only good thing is Id be supporting Martinez. But then Id be supporting 2 scumbags as well, Chavez Jr and Arum. So yea 2 negatives outweight my 1 positive. Not sure why anyone would even consider paying Arum for PPVs. Fkin stream every Top Rank event. In this case stream Chavez Jr-Martinez and watch Canelo-Ortiz on TV.

you can't announce a fight if one of the fighters involve has a fight coming up...just for that i agree with arum. i don't like that mother****er but he's right.

i have a feeling that something's going to happen with chavez - some sort of injury or some excuse from his camp - and the fight doesn't even take place. I hope not, b/c I want to see Martinez kick his @ss... but after delaying it for so long, I don't see why Arum would actually put his money maker in there to get whooped on

Everyone who tuned in on May 5, knew Canelo had Sept 15 locked up. Its not his fault P.Willy had an unfortunate accident,lets keep that in mind. Arum NEVER intended to make the Martinez fight but he knew that was the only way to upstage Golden Boy, so the fight got made in an instant! Both companies feel they have #1 mexican star and neither will budge,even if Ortiz loses, GB will still proceed because Canelo is the draw.With that being said, Arum has the better fight. It was obvious to me that Canelo still isnt ready for prime time players or they just wanna keep him active in a somewhat competitive fight before he takes on Mayweather. Shaefer has a good point tho, why vegas?
