I really really wanna see this fight but if theres no testing i already see the ending predetermined. Ill have to settle and go to the Canelo vs Ortiz fight at least they have integrity and dont avoid the testing.

I doubt Sergio is cheating but if hes willing to take the test (I know that 2 fighters that demanded it ended up being caught) I give him credit for that. I just dont like the fact that hes knows exactly what hes walking into and for what a tiny percentage of a PPV thats not gonna do huge numbers anyway. I understand everyones got a price (like the milllion dollar man Ted Dibiase) but its lose lose for him.

has there ever been a fighter who has an upcoming fight and he was the only one taking extra testing? i think extra testing should be done for both fighters. it's only fair, plus martinez isn't the one being accused or has a history of using banned substances.

I'll entertain though, cause I'm a team player Maybe Sergio should "even the playing field" if you know what I mean But what if Chavez isn't on anything and Sergio ends up being the only cheat only because he thought Chavez would be on something, so he took "something" (only if he, Sergio, isn't already on anything, being the request was a front). And hypothetically, say they were to take part in OST or the two month form, who's to say that's full proof? In the end, I agree even minimal testing is better than nothing, but I'm not fool enough to think it means the fighters are clean, it could mean nothing more than the fighters are smart enough to make you think they're clean and essentially that's a good look for their legacies.

Both the end result is and always will be to clean up boxing. Until the commisions make random testing mandatory im not spending $ going to/ordering ppv/acknowledging anyone as a p4p to anyone not taking test.

I only found this place because Fighthype was blocked at work. The forum (not the actual main site) here isnt so i decided to join after about 2 months of lurking.

Moving on I get what your saying but. If the people that say that theyre willing to take the test and still get caught. What does that say about the people that REFUSE to get tested?
