Neither one of these fights is worthy of PVP.

I'd watch both fights with great interest, but I would not pay any money to do so.

He fought Vanda twice and Rowland was overturned cause somebody failed a drug test. Also paint thinner makes a wonderful mixer for any drink.

I'd feel so bad for Sergio if this feud ruins his first ever ppv fight getting less viewers than it deserves lol.

Mexico shows more support for Canelo, than for Chaves. Thats so much is not even debatable.

Both guys will be Game on fight night and with Ortiz is such a train wreck in there once he feels Alvarez punch who knows what he'll try to pull in there
This. Martinez-JCC jr. means so much more. Martinez a P4P fighter against chavez who is improving with every fight and is looking like a beast.

The funny thing is that if both of these promoters worked it out together, they could work out a deal where one card is on Friday night and the other Saturday night. The promoter that moves to Friday night would get compensated and neither PPV would suffer. Then, you make this a Mexican weekend extravaganza. Both venues would be filled to capacity because they would be in town for both fights. Everybody wins. If not Friday night, a day/night doubleheader on Saturday as Plan B. Get creative and everybody wins. Remain stubborn and nobody wins.

One of the PPV's will be moved. As Merchant pointed out, he doesn't see how the Las Vegas Athletic Commission would even allow both fights to happen on the same date while being 2-miles away from each other. It doesn't make sense for them.

All you ******s need to stop paying for the fights. Just act like the fight isn't on until next week and watch it on HBO. F!@# PPV events, the fights should be televised on free tv. Both promoter and fighters make enough money as it is.

                    A Mayweather fans view

Martinez would kick Ortiz or Canelos a$$. So I have to say I'll be watchin both but the Martinez vs. Chavez fight is a little more interesting. I always felt like Chavez was slightly overrated so it'll be good to see him finally get his beat by someone with real skill. Martinez by late stoppage.
