Yeah, didn't Hopkins-Pascal do 1.6Million? And that 1.6mill will not translate in to anywhere near even 500k. Look at Hopkins-Pavlik for example.
Some guys are great with the TV ratings, but find out the hard way that they are not PPV stars. Unless they're across Mayweather or Pacquiao.Comment

100-300k (which is not bad)
not sure why people think all of a sudden that this is a big PPV Match...Casual Fans still have no clue who these fighters are so they won't be buying this fight
but with just the hardcore boxing fans alone it should be able to do respectable numbers...same for the Ortiz vs CaneloComment

Neither are PPV fighters and they are going against another PPV in Canelo-Ortiz. If they go solo on Sept 15 the most they will do are 380K and if they go up against Canelo it will get a drop to 200K to 250k. People are crazy if they think this fight will 500K+.Comment

Bingo! casuals have no idea who Martinez or Chavez Jr are so it will be a strugle with only Mexicans and hardcore boxing fans buying. 380K is the most and that is if Canelo-Ortiz go on another date.100-300k (which is not bad)

That's exactly what it was, 1.8Mill Hopkins-Pascal, 1.6Mill for Berto-Ortiz, 1.2Mill for Donaire-Montiel. And neither of these 6 fighters would do anywhere remotely close to those numbers in PPV. Unless like I mentioned, they're across the ring from Mayweather or Pacquiao.Comment
