    Bryant Jennings. Though I really doubt any of these guys go on to be great HW's. Malik Scott was the guy who I thought had the most raw skill and talent, and his career faded badly.

        The top prospects young American Heavyweights right now are the following:

        James Toney - 43
        Mike Tyson - 46
        Evander Holyfield - 49

        and of course RJJ. RJJ will fight anyone. He is no ducker despite what his fans or doctors tell him.

        And that sums up the current state of HW and lack of any talent in that division.

          You mean lack of American talent.

          Lots of talent at HW: Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko, David Haye, David Price, Tyson Fury, Robert Helenius, Mike Perez, V. Glazkov, Magomed Abdusalamov, Denis Boytsov, Kubrat Pulev, etc.

          I don't think there's a single bona fide American HW contender right now, though.
