What I dont understand about Chavez Junior is that....

.....the first time I saw a fight of him, he looked like an average fighter. I saw his fight against average Troy Rowland 3 years ago on the undercard of Pacquiao-Cotto, and Chavez had nothing. He couldn't hurt his opponent, he couldn't outbox him, he couldn't do sh't. And now suddenly he beats up top level opponents, experienced fighters and Olympic medalists? One after the other? For Real? Is the Roach training working wonders? Maybe.
Cause all of Chavez' last opponents said he was physically too big and too strong. Rubio said it and now Andy Lee said the same thing ("I couldn't hurt him or move him with my punches"). And we definitely saw how Chavez was physically too big for Sebastian Zbik and outweighed him also by many many pounds.
Is Chavez suddenly a new fighter? Is he suddenly two levels above what he was 3 years ago? If yes, I have to congratulate him, cause only hard work can get you to a new level.
What do you guys think about Chavez and the fighter he became?
Btw I'm sick of Chavez "calling out" Sergio Martinez in his postfight interviews when in truth he is running from him since years.

That's because you don't know boxing.

I've known for years he is the best Middleweight in the world and as he beats one contender after another-- all of you haters will eventually have no choice but to agree with me.

The guy is avoiding piss tests in every fight. PEDs are the obvious answer.

The non-cheating answer is that he has taken it slowly and learned as he has raised his level of competition.

chavez he's grown into a man. We've been watching him since he was a kid with no amateur experience, so naturally he's going to progress as a fighter.

he beat Andy Lee btw, who let's be honest isn't that great and sucks against pressure & fades as the fight goes on.

i got an hbo stream on last night, and before the fight they were saying that he hadnt given a urine sample. iv heard he missed a test at his last fight?
then i fell asleep at the start of the fight so was wondering what happened with regards to his testing?

well maybe because chavez was still inexperienced and younger back then and wasn't at his prime...also add to the fact that he never had an amateur background.

Credit to Chavez for beating Lee, but I never understood what the big fuss was about Lee anyway cause he's not that good. I keep hearing how well he dominates in sparring but unless you're doing it when it counts in the actual fight then who cares.

He is like Canelo, no amateur experience, tons of potential and learning on the job. Besides, some people watched one fight of them and think they have seen all they can do.

Ps.- And of course peds, but at this level it is a given.
