Probably but I dont feel his opinion holds any special meaning, I would trust the opinion of fighters who have fought them both. It is just an opinion.

Pacquiao needs to retire. Nobody can beat him.

These effing opponents of his show up just to cash in. All they do is survive the distance and not even try to win. All they do is cover, run and backpedal.

        These fights are useless.

I don't think any boxers think they could outbox Mayweather, so yea, I'm pretty sure that is what he means. Do you think anyone can outbox May? Please don't say Pacquiao, because he cannot outbox the guy who perfected the sweet science of our generation.

All common opponents have been on record saying Mayweather would beat Pac.

This includes Mosley, Hatton, Marquez, Oscar, Cotto
I never read about Cotto picking a winner and I remember Mosley saying the fight was even and he could not pick a winner. The other three did pick Floyd to win.

I agree with you, before they can make a proper assessment of which one would beat one another, they would need to fight.. Still, I keep coming back to this, styles make fights and we haven't seen anyone with Pac's ferociousness fight Mayweather or someone as slick & sound defensive fight Pac, this will always have the same outcome: We will not know before they get in the ring, which I'm pretty sure won't happen. Too bad us boxing fans won't get what we want, but hey - it's all business, right?

Sounds butthurt. But if i was him I'd pick Mayweather to win too, to save face.

I dunno how that sounds butthurt. One of Pacquiao's saving graces against Mayweather was supposed to be his work rate. So against Tim Bradley nearly every round he has 1, 1 and a half, 2 minutes where he's basically doing nothing and it's not like Tim is the counter puncher that Marquez or Mayweather are.

That's obvious Tim if you with one leg standing still can beat PAC, you can basically say Floyd already won.
