    just out of curiosity...

would you all be willing to pay a floyd/pac-type premium to watch them on the same card? say $69.99 HD?

    Chavez vs. Martinez
    Canelo vs. Ortiz
(plus two decent names whom don't demand a high purse yet or anymore)

just saying, IMO TR and GB would make more money this way than by having the cards compete on the same night. Most people will not buy both.

Its not happening. GBP, and TR are greedy phuckers.

And for once I would love to see just who has more star power. Going head to head on the same night will prove that, even if it hurts sales.

While I like the idea, it would NEVER happen. Too many big ego's, and swinging ****s in the way.

I think Martinez/Chavez will do better than Canelo/Ortiz. The key demographic that will buy these fights are the Mexicans. While Canelo vs Ortiz is supposed to be a competitive fight, Canelo should be the favorite and is expected to win. On the other hand, Chavez is going to be in a fight where he's expected to lose. So the more intriguing fight in the point of view of th Mexicans is Chavez/Martinez because their guy is in the most danger. Chavez will need the support more so than Canelo. The hardcore fans who think this will be a mismatch and thus won't buy don't matter because they're a minority.

                  Anyway, can't wait for 24/7.
