      120-108, right?
There's no way an American fighter who happened to be one of the greatest defensive fighters - if not the greatest defensive fighter of all time could beaten a British sideshow in Hamed....there's just no way.

On a sidenote, who do you think would have won between Barrera and Whitaker?

94-95 Hamed would be far too quick for naturally bigger Whitaker, Hamed was an alien freak until after the Robinson fight.

I agree about the freak part...Before the Steve Robinson fight Hamed fought the usual bum suspects. He WAS back then much faster but less experienced. He would not have been able to defeat a fighter as gifted as Pernell. The best he could have hoped for was a flash knockdown but he wouldn't win many rounds.

Hamed was very very difficult to catch back then (he didn't get punched until after the Robinson fight, he did not get hit flush once in any fight until he stopped training), Whitaker would have to land on the guy to score..

                Please JUYJUY.

You're comparing a 'never was' Hamed to one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time (I have him #2 behind Willie Pep).

Crock of **** to be honest. And to think I gave you karma a couple hours ago.

Hamed was 122, Whitaker was 135. Hamed was much quicker, and the best young prospect ever seen in his pre-WBO featherweight champion days.

Barrera was at his peak around 1995, at 122. But the Barrera of the last five years would of hardly stood a chance against Whitaker.

Can somebody help me out and tell me why these two are even matched up at this weight, which, if I'm not mistaken, NEITHER of the two have ever fought at in the pros?
