I'm missing your point ... Almost every fighter comes into the ring on fight-night heavier with the exception of Floyd, Pac, JMM and a few others -- and I do mean a few. Clearly, its allowed, for no official complaints have ever been filed.
Who actually used to come in way, way bigger than all his opponents back before he became a 147 guy. He had the type of weight advantage Jr seems to have over alot of MW's.
jr, comes in very very heavy and chances are he uses suspect means to make weight. hes already been caught on diuretics. the guys is absolutely not a middleweight.
Doesn't matter ...
Sergio is the #1 Middleweight and after this fight Chavez Jr. is #2. There is no reason why this fight can't happen and to suggest that Chavez Jr. would be too big on fight-night is questionable. Because look at how much weight Ortiz gains post-weigh-in, look at Clottey, that list of guys that bulk-up overnight is very, very long.
Like I stated before, there are only a handful of fighter's that stay close to Class weight, while some pickup as much as 17lbs overnight.
Very impressive win for JCC Jr.He really might be a problem for Martinez, with that size..If I'm Martinez handlers,I might move down and wait for Floyd...
