who am i to question this guy?

i watched the first jennings fight & thought that he was nothing special. i couldn't have been more wrong after the liahkovich fight. i thought he would get his ass kicked by sergei. he had good movement, threw power combinations & took some clean shots very well. i was so impressed with jennings. i never heard of him until the NBC card in january. these guys stay busy in the midsouth & can carve out a decent living regionally. brian minto & rob calloway have made a good living boxing in there. collins has a golden opportunity to get on national television & make a name for himself. i think jennings is going to beat him up but you never know. NBC & kathy duva have done a great job teaming up to showcase some american talent on national tv. she has been showcasing some good heavyweight fights. she may be able to sign a few more contending fighters to her stable if she continues getting fights aired. boxing needs more tv coverage. the heavyweight division is in need of a boost & getting good matchups on tv that can be view with your standard cable package is a good stepping stone. when boxing was at it's best the HW division was flourishing. in 3 cards this year we have see adamek fight twice, liahkovich & the emergence of bryant jennings. this will be his 3rd fight. we also seen maurice byarm & steve collins. byarm is already getting another good fight with abdusalamov. NBC has gotten a few names out there to the boxing fans of america.
