Manny has become a joke. Can you imagine the hating if Floyd fought somebody for the 4th time? It makes sense to have the fight in Mexico because Mannys not a draw in the US anymore. The Bradley fight didnt sell out the MGM so the only way to make money on this fixed fight is to have it in Mexico. Americans arent gonna spend their hard earned scratch on the bulls-hit.

I think that this is a very smart business move on Top Rank's and especially Bob Arum's part. Right now, Team Bradley is in the driver's seat and holds most of the cards at the bargaining table. They will probably demand no less than a eight figure $10M payday for that rematch with Pacquiao. At this time, Bradley's stocks are just too high. Perhaps a couple of losses from now, then perhaps Top Rank would be willing to sit down and negotiate a new deal with him that is more favorable to his company and especially Team Pacquiao. This similar scenario reminds me back in 2000, when Mosley defeated De La Hoya and was promised a guaranteed purse of $10Million by Bob Arum for a rematch but it was never exercised until several losses later to Vernon Forrrest, when Shane's stock value had begun to drop. It was only then, when Arum was willing to sit down and negotiate a rematch with him; Basically offering him the same deal as the original, which was about $4Million.

Do people talking about Pacquiao vs. Mayweather even follow what's been going on over the past few years?

The fight is not happening. Pacquiao has 3 more years on his Top Rank contract and Floyd hasn't fought anyone on the Top Rank roster in who knows how long.

We've heard shyt about temporary stadiums, investors from Singapore, Joe Jackson, deals reached to hold the fight in Dubai, cuts that won't heal in time, 60/40 splits, random drug testing, 50/50 splits, $40 million flat fees, pay per view revenues. The barriers have been endless and now, they have excuses such as Pac losing his last fight (arguably last 2 fights), Floyd's jail sentence and lack of training in jail, Floyd fighting in a new weight class, Canelo and Khan being promised opportunities, Rios, Mike Jones, Bradley and others being promised opportunities.

          The shyt is endless.

The first fight ended in a draw. The second ended in a SD for Pac. The third ended in a MD for Pac. If you asked me right after the third, I would've said the 4th would end in a UD for Pac. However, Pac is declining and if the fight takes place in Mexico, I don't see Pac getting the benefit of the doubt now, the game is over.

i disagree. bradley still has no leverage givn he really did'nt beat pacqauio, only on paper that he did so even if pac does'nt rematch him it's pretty known that he already beat him anyways. if anything its tim that needs the rematch to redeem himself after talking himself way up then flopping.

HOW MUCH DOES TOP RANK/BOB ARUM REALLY FEAR MAYWEATHER?

The fact that Bob Arum is more open to the idea of fighting Marquez for the 4th time in Mexico for less money than a Mayweather PPV would make speaks volume of the lengths that they are willing to go to avoid Mayweather.
