Texas is a state that has been mired in boxing controversy in recent years, but that doesn't seem to concern their commission officials enough to make them ensure a level playing field, apparently.

Moments ago at the weigh-in for tomorrow's WBC middleweight championship fight between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and top contender Andy Lee, representatives of Lee requested to weigh both camp's gloves.

How can someone not say this guy is dirty, one way or another? I mean it's like getting pulled over cause you're swerving and then refuse to take the sobriety test.

Sad thing is, this is just an indication of what's to come tomorrow. It DOES NOT matter what Lee does, Chavez Jr will still win in the end. Hell Lee might get the KO/TKO and they will find a way to and give it to Chavez Jr.

Texas has the worst commission, but the only thing that validates the fights there is that Texas has hardcore boxing fans that pack the arenas.
