Comments Thread For: Artur Szpilka Faces Jameel McCline on Kostecki-Roy Jones

Artur Szpilka (11-0, 9 KOs), an up-and-coming new heavyweight star from Poland, will make yet another leap up in class in just two weeks. On June 30 Szpilka, who already defeated shop-worn but experienced veterans Gonzalo Omar Basile and Owen Beck (both via fourth-round TKOs), battles former world-title challenger Jameel “Big Time” McCline (41-11-3, 24 KOs).

Szpilka is young and has only had 11 pro fights, so McCline is an okay opponent for him.

Artur will learn from fighting experienced (but faded) veterans.

good opponent at this point. i watched mcclines fight vs livin castillo & all i can say is he can't get his punches off anymore. he is so slow too. he wasn't effectively cutting off the ring nor was he using his size advantage. mccline will be right in front of szpilka.
