Compare that to Mayweather with 36 tickets unsold...

Less then 9 million gate compared to Mayweather's 12 million.

      50/50!!

How many PPVs has Canelo sold as a main event? Just because a mexican fighter is popular doesn't mean he sells PPV's.

It's not Floyd's fault that arum had a less attractive PPV line up then he did. Floyd is clearly doing more numbers than Pacquiao. At first I was like make it 50/50 but now knowing the fact that Arum gave Pac 6MIL guarantee while he gave a rather unknown fighter 5MIL guarantee which is 1MIL under Pacquiao and after it is all said and done, Pac won't even make next to 40MIL tells me that Manny Pacquiao don't deserve 50/50. Popularity wise I would say make the split even but if Floyd is making more money and bringing more revenue during and after his events, then why should he give Manny 50%? Arum is always saying it is business and surely he knows that numbers tell the tale. Sure all of us wanted or wants to see the fight but if you keep it straight business it is obvious that Manny Pacquiao is behind Floyd Mayweather in terms of earning power no matter how popular he is.

Real good numbers. It's too bad Pacquiao is still stuck with Arum.
He must be the only man that is okay with taking a pay cut each and every fight.

I've never gotten into this side of Boxing (talking gate numbers etc.) What exactly is comps?

Not a terrible gate, still a little less revenue than May-Ortiz on the gate. The PPV numbers will be nowhere near 1.25M like May-Ortiz though, and won't come close to 78M in PPV revenue.

Pretty insane when you think about it considering how small the UK is.
Also considering the fact we have to stay up until daylight to watch fights half way across the world.

dont know where u get ur #s from. Pac got a 26 mil guarantee. ur wrong Floyd may take home more bc he doesnt have a promoter to take %, but ther revenue generated from both is very close. they split all revenue 50/50. then Arum obviously takes his cutr from Pac's 50%. Pac-Marquez did 1.4 and PAc Mosely did WELL ovr a mil. Mayweather cotto will def outsell Pac-Bradley, but thats nd Cotto fans will generate at least another 200-300k. Most of Cotto's recent fights are PPV, and he is probably #3 in the pecking order regarding generating revenue.
dont matter anyway, bc even if Pac agreed to a flat fee with no % for PPV (which wud be ridiculous) Floyd will find another excuse. hes a straight up punk who always has an excuse. whether its steroid testing, revenue split or somthin else, he just wants no part of Pac. I work in boxing - I wont say in what capacity, but most boxing insiders know it. Mayweather donesnt want to fight Pacquiao, no matter what
