There were more PPV sales in the UK then there was in the US for a Mayweather fight.

Pretty insane when you think about it considering how small the UK is.

A lot of them do because they hope to see Floyd lose.

Arum and Mayweather should have 3 boxing financial experts come in and look at every detail, every number of Pac and Floyd's earning power and then split it in the exact way that it matches what each guy pulls in, whether that is 58% Floyd, 42% Pac, or 56% Floyd, 44% Pac, whatever, just base it on the total earning powers and make the fight. A financial group that does not have any connections to either side.

Don't forget that Hatton was undefeated and the man back then.

Plus people gave him a good shot to beat mayweather because of his pressure style.

The only thing those numbers show is how much more popular Hatton was in the UK than Floyd was in the US.

Compare that to Mayweather with 36 tickets unsold...

Less then 9 million gate compared to Mayweather's 12 million.

            50/50!!
They're never going to fight so why does it matter. I dont get why either side cares how much the fighters make compared to each other. Lets wish them both the best.

We don't until it became a negotiation issue, now we do because it seems to be putting the fight at a hault.

I wouldn't care about what the boxers favorite ice cream flavor was, unless that was the issue that prevented the fight from happening.

It means Floyd fans don't want Pac for their idol. They have to justify Floyd's fear of Pac. They're trying to make it appear that Floyd would not benefit from a Pacquiao fight even in a 50/50 deal, not to mention seeing the one-dimensional midget get schooled by their hero. In short, they think people are that dumb.

In the end if the fight doesn't happen Floyd would become the laughing stock of the world. Who in his right mind would blame Pac and Arum for the fight not happening?

Yo Floyd fans, if you Floyd fanatics don't care whether the fight happens or not, why should others?

Yea true but their PPV's are half the price of US PPVs and they are more into boxing

I'm just more surprised that Lewis didnt do the highest #s against tyson

                    Of course, of course.

Hatton was a hero here at that point and had a following in a league of it's own. Only to be rivaled by Barry McGuigan.

But still, it's still crazy. A PPV doing better numbers here than in America.

The buzz for that fight was something else, it really was.

Definitely the biggest buzz for a fight in the UK of the last decade. That or Tyson-Lewis. But the Hatton-Mayweather one I would say had more exicitment and buzz about it.
