When either of the Klitschkos fight, more than 15 million Germans watch it on live TV, more than 30 million watch their fights worldwide in over 100 countries, and several of their fights have sold out football stadiums with live gates of well over 50,000. Haye has never had more than 1.5 million Brits watch any of his fights on TV, has never had a live gate of more than 20,000 except for his fight with Wlad; and the only fight in which he had a worldwide live TV audience higher than 5 million was his fight with Wlad, which had a worldwide live TV audience of approaching 100 million. So you're either very ill-informed or very silly.

Yer thats because they re-birthed themselves as German, the german boxing scene is awful, they'll support anyone with any exposure, while British fans have to really like someone or someone's style to take any notice. When either of the Klitschkos fight, more than 15 million Germans watch it on live TV, more than 30 million watch their fights worldwide in over 100 countries, and several of their fights have sold out football stadiums with live gates of well over 50,000. Wasn't it immediately clear that jealousy is the motivation behind this? Two guys have a tiff at your press conference and now they're both getting a ton of press and sizeable payday for it. I'd be pissed too, but it would totally be a jealousy thing.Comment

David Haye and Dereck Chisora have finally reached agreement on one subject - the Klitschko brothers' domination of the heavyweight division.
Haye and Chisora meet at Upton Park on July 14 for the culmination of a feud that has been running since February when the pair brawled in Munich at a press conference which followed Chisora's loss to Vitali Klitschko, who retained his WBC title in the process.
Haye was beaten by Wladimir Klitschko in July last year and the 36-year-old added the WBA title to the IBF, WBO and IBO belts he already owned.

I agree. I mean Wlad and Vitali (though I don't see why Vitali can't fight Haye if he beats Chisora) have every title at HW, and the two guys that lost to each of them are in the biggest HW fight of the year. It's funny, but kind of sad at the same time.
Haye-Chisora and Price-Perez are the two most exciting HW fights for me this year.Comment

When are people going to realize that selling out a Soccer Stadium in Germany, where it seems German fans will watch anything and for cheap prices, doesn't mean a whole lot???
The Klitschko's are good fighters, but it would help a little bit if they were American, not that much. Steve Cunningham, along with Adamek, was one of the Top CW's int he world until he lost to Hernandez, and he had to fight in Germany to get anyone to watch him. He's American, but being American clearly didn't help him......
Look at Timothy Bradley. He's one of the Top 1-2 JWW's in the world, Top 10 P4P, wins over Witter-Holt-Peterson-Alexander, and can't draw s**t or get much praise. Being American doesn't automatically equal high praise and popularity in boxing.Last edited by 4Corners; 06-13-2012, 01:13 PM.Comment

The Brothers need to embrace these two fighting....the HW division could use all the popularity it can get....sheeid I'd go to the fight if I were them.
I like watching Vitaly fight. Wladimir? Ugh. Even Emmanuel Steward doesn't like watching him fight with all that beetchass holding - and he's watching it from 10ft away!
With that said, the winner should fight Vitaly which would be an excellent final fight for big bro.Comment
