    still be effective and pound for pound fighter at age 40?

          I don't think his style lends to it. He relies on his legs and hips a lot. He'd have to go dirty like Hop to make it happen.

            I don't think so,
            I don't see how he could change up his style and I certainly wouldn't want him boxing at the age of 40.

              Its obvious that Pac is no longer a stamina freak at this point. so yeah he needs to conserve some output and try to win matches like Hopkins.

              by comparison he still dominated a younger, undefeated, black, american fighter.

                He needs to work on an inside game, he's too good of a combination puncher to neglect that. A lot of the times when Bradley went in Pacquiao would hold or push Bradley's head down, it's possible for Manny to be very effective into his mid thirties, after that I doubt it.

                    I don't think Mayweather can pull a Hopkins, in fact I would say a 38 year old Hopkins is better than a 34/ 35 year old Mayweather. Real talk...
