How does Bob Arum stand to make more money from Pacquiao losing?

This isn't a rhetorical question. I'd really like to know how this works. I watched the fight and I, like most others, thought Pacquiao won. It seems like most people are blaming Bob Arum, but how exactly is he making more money? I thought about it and my guess was that either a) he'll make money from promoting a rematch or b) he'll make money from upcoming Tim Bradley fights. But consequently, wouldn't he lose money from future Pacquiao fights? Anyway, I'm just speculating, so can someone please explain to me in detail what Bob Arum is doing to fatten his own pockets?

Have a rematch where Pacquiao gets his revenge, and then finish off with a rubber match.

So he'd make more money from Pacman fighting Bradley a second time, as apposed to fighting someone he hasn't fought before? And what's a rubber match?

simple other than Pac, Top Rank doesn't really have any top fighters anymore. Pac is gonna retire soon, so Arum needs a new cash cow. he's just planning for the future

Well they can work the revenge angle. Pacquiao was robbed can he get his revenge for his first loss in 7 years!! And then the rubber match is a 3rd fight, the tie breaker, All the while they are avoiding Floyd, "we can't fight Floyd we have to take care of Bradley first"

Also, who else is Pacquiao going to fight? Marquez?

He's going to make more money because they're gonna have a rematch where again he'll make 100 percent profit being that both fighters are under Top Rank. He also can cut Pacs paycheck since he lost. Plus if the fight is close again and Pac gets the decision he can make a trilogy all while keeping all the money IN HOUSE. And he can duck mayweather being that if Pac ever fights Mayweather then Arum will have to share the profits and can't take 100 percent like he's been doing while matching all his own fighters against each other. Cotto vs Margarito, Pac vs Cotto, Pac vs Clottey, Pac vs Margarito, Pac vs Marquez, now Pac vs Bradley. Plus there are rumors that pac was thinking of leaving Arum. Now Arum has him by the balls and can pressure him into signing a long term deal with Top rank in order to get the rematch.

I wish the mods weren't so quick to delete threads, because I have a real good one breaking down the pros and cons of fixing this fight and if we should blame Bob.

In a nutshell, a part of me says it was a scam and the other thinks that maybe it was incompetent judging.

I say this because Marquez vs Pacquiao IV does over 1.3 million buys and I can see a Cotto rematch doing over 1.2.

So those are two money fights right there that Arum has, and I can't possible see him doing over a million with the Bradley rematch.

Then again maybe he was banking on the fact that a rematch, after a Pacquiao loss will make a ton of money, be competitive and setup a rubber match.

I honestly don't know as Saturday night defined all logic and took everyone by surprise.

But he has two in house fights, Cotto rematch and Marquez rematch that will easily outsell Pac vs Bradley II.

Even though Cotto is with GBP, I have no doubt that he can go do a deal with Top Rank to get a Pacquiao fight (with Arum promoting both).

Arum is going to do this little investigation thing so people are comfortable that another robbery will not occur in the rematch. People will be excited to see Pac go for revenge and it will sell....same old story. The Pac fans alone will buy 800K

I doubt Pac or Arum would agree to a fight with Cotto at 154.
