What is with these young prospects? They expect the world, and a million a fight, without having done anything. Boxing today is so pathetic. Full of guys who fall apart when tested or never even get there despite massive backing, piles of money and everything else.

Boxing has evolved. It's evolved from a great sport to a pile of ****e with hopeless fighters and prima donnas.

I couldn't agree more. This is real talk. The sport is shameful now. It's about superstar status & draw power. The 2 greatest fighters supposedly are allowed to cherrypick for the most profit with the least amount of risk, but somehow still manage to be considered great & unbeatable.

Meanwhile many good maybe even great lesser known fighters fight up the ranks & get avoided by the so called greats because of the threat they impose & lose out on the chance to be great & lame fans love the stars for the bull$h!t.

Luis Franco is solid and always hungry even in his approach when fighting. Great fight. When it was first announced I was ecstatic. Now boxing has turned into a joke. Had hopes for russell. But have higher hopes for Franco. Hope Franco gets what he deserves.
