Is there an explanation for such a such decline in Vargas and Mosley?

I mean Vargas' chin is fragile now, and I dont think two whooppings would mess with someones chin? Maybe he lost confidence. Does less confidence = less of a chin?

Im also not buying the muscle mass slowing Mosley down to a one punch at a time fighter?

Both seem really scared to throw big punch..

Does anybody have an explanation for these two fighters?

Neither uses steroids anymore and neither was a GREAT fighter to begin with. They were both above average, but neither was great by any means. Vargas was in 3 big fights and arguably lost all three (Wright, Trinidad, De La Hoya). Mosley was in 6 big fights and arguably lost 5 (Forrest twice, De La Hoya twice, and Wright twice).

How either was ever anywhere near the top 10 p4p is beyond me.

Vargas hasnt been the same since Tito and Oscar KO'd him, and Mosley hasnt been the same since Forrest beat him twice.

I cant say with Vargas. But other than getting old, Mosley lost to Winky twice and put up a hell of a fight the second time around. Thats no to bad for an old guy.

Why do a lot of you seem to think Mosley "almost beat Winky" in the rematch? I scored that fight as a landslide victory for Wright. Sure the rounds were closer, but Winky won about 9-10 of them. No 115-113 bull**** and that draw the one judge had, WTF? Winky completely dominated that fight other than the part where he gave Mosley some free shots.
