Rigo is a class act outside and inside the four corners. Regardless of his 9 wins the man is a world champion...instead of bashing him I think he deserves more respect due to his accomplishments in such little time and resume. He's getting older and he's aware of the unforgiving punishment time can dish out. At the end of the day its amazing that in this day and time champions have the need to hunt down opposition..shouldn't it be the other way around? Its quite sad that "we" as fans don't embrace his courage and valor to try and conquer his division regardless of his "9 wins". Instead we attempt to demoralize his status because of his resume. If anything Bob Arum should make Nishioka vs Rigo winner gets Donaire...that would be interesting.

Rigo has had some top wins at the weight against Cordoba and Ramos, and is now the champ.

And he has looked damn good in his fights.

The 4 top guys at the weight are Donaire, Nishioka, Mares and Rigondeaux, any fight involving these would be great.

You obviously didn't see the Cordoba fight
