Johnston wasn't that big either, he was very strong physically considering his frame, he managed to push Castillo around A LOT, but he wasn't big at all.

He will be physically stonger and what I meant by bigger is that he was a career long Lightweight whereas Marquez fought most his career at feathweight. Both guys had tough fights against lesser fighters than each other.

You have to also consider Marquez when he got to lightweight is more hittable, doesnt move his legs as much and lost some hand speed. This is Johnston at his best weight, he is also a southpaw will take Marquez best shot and will be more elusive.

Marquez is the greater fighter, just stylistically I see Johnston dealing with him better than the other way around

Johnston still mixed it up a lot, fought very aggressive and his defense was inconsistent as well, I don't see Marquez having that much trouble. Marquez struggles against boxers, movers who don't give him much to counter off of, that's not Johnston. Southpaws are usually trouble for anyone but I don't think that matters much in this match up.

I see what you are saying....Im sure it would be close but I agree to disagree. You are right he could be inconsistent with his defense as was Marquez would have been an action packed see saw type of fight IMO
