Vitaly claimed the Haye fight was personal and he wanted it more than any other. He also claims he doesn't fight for the money. If these thing were true there would be nothing left to stop this fight from happening. The truth is Vitaly wants the lions share of the money, choice of venue, the right to choose the gloves and size of the ring and options for a rematch clause. That doesn't sound personal, does it? That is business and Vitaly is holding it up because he is unwilling to be flexible. You want to solve the problem? Make the negotiations public. The Klits would never do that though because it would paint them in a bad light like it would any other fighter in position to make demands. But I remind you, the difference here is Vitaly says it personal. So why isn't the fight made?

Wait, wasn't it Haye who retired? And the Klit bros have the right to make the demands after all they are the champs. And you question the Klit bros credibility but somehow you believe what Haye has to say? I have to ask are you being sarcastic again? Because that is laughable and you can't honestly say you will take Haye's word for, well, anything, can you?

What a flaccid end to a lackluster career.
Vitali may go down as having the weakest Heavyweight resume in the history of the sport.
Marciano's was bad but at least he KO'd hall of famers in Ezzard Charles and Joe Louis.
60 years from now how will Sosnoski, Charr and Gomez sound to your ears? SMHComment

Wlad is the champ, Vitaly is a paper titlist. But you've missed the point entirely my friend. Vital called this personal and not about money. So why is he being so tough on negotiations? I don't particularly like Haye and I certainly don't think he deserves to fight Vitaly until he redeems himself after the Wlad debacle. But it seems pretty clear who is holding the fight up given their reputations negotiating.Wait, wasn't it Haye who retired? Is this all you have?
Klitschko couldnt beat Lennox inside a ring so his fans dream up consolation wins using fantasy, opinion and conjecture. Its pathetic.
Vitali sucks and would be a c class andrew golota if he fought in the mid 90s. Go see what Oliver Mcall did to a fully awake Lennox in round 2, then watch how Vitali squanders his opportunity against a stunned Lennox in the exact same round. The difference of eras.
Vitali is fools gold and is 0-2 against actual competition. Beating up on Dawsons leftovers willl not change that.Comment

Vitlai is a bit more than just a paper champion, but honestly that discussion is for another day. But, if you want my pick for a classic paper champ see Povetkin. Now that's a paper champ. With that said let me get back on track.Wlad is the champ, Vitaly is a paper titlist. But you've missed the point entirely my friend. Vital called this personal and not about money. So why is he being so tough on negotiations? I don't particularly like Haye and I certainly don't think he deserves to fight Vitaly until he redeems himself after the Wlad debacle. But it seems pretty clear who is holding the fight up given their reputations negotiating.
Unless of course you yourself were in the room during the negotiations you really have no clue if Haye is being honest. And if I was a betting man and I was going to bet on who I would trust between Vitali and Haye? My money is on Vitali every time. And why? Because Haye has proved over and over again that he is a load of crap. From all that crap leading up to the Wlad fight. Also, the fake broken hand in Valuev fight. And all the his big talk before his fights and then he fights and doesn't, or can't, back all the big talk up. So, apparently you missed my point. Because I only wanted to know how you can take Haye's word for anything when he has a long history of being the one that is less then honest.
And as far as how Vitali feels about fighting Haye. I am not going to pretend that I know. But, maybe you are reading to much into it and he simply changed his mind and no longer cares about Haye. And he certainly has the right to do so. Or maybe Viatli doesn't trust Haye and doesn't want a long drawn out fiasco like before the Wlad fight. Or maybe it was because the Chisora fight did make him feel old and he just wants one more easy fight. Or maybe he is not sure and wants to see what happens with the Haye-Chisora fight. Because if Chisora wins it would be pointless for Vitali to fight Haye, don't you agree?
In closing I will say this. Because of Haye's reputation I honestly believe that this whole discussion might be pointless. Because I am not even convinced, that is until the bell rings to start round 1, that Haye will even fight Chisora.Last edited by Ravens Fan; 06-07-2012, 08:21 PM.Comment
