Hearns wasn't chinny he had an alright chin for a 147 pounder. If he would had a granite chin he would have been indestructible. He was beast.

Angelo Dundee said "Give Tommy Ray's balance and he beats them all". I agree; although Tommy's chin should be improved, he only got knocked out by either the very best fighters (Ray, Marvin) or the very best shots (Barkley). With balance I'd say his physical advantages overcome SRR to a narrow decision.
