But wouldn't it also be beneficial to use them while training also? I think that would get you your best results and performance on fight night. Like I said, I'm not an expert or anything, just debating with someone who seems to know more on the subject.
Yes it would, they can train outside a training camp and some boxer's train all year round.
And you are right you would get better results using them closer to the fight date, but using them months before you will still reap the benefits, because the PEDs could have taken you to the next level and you take that next level into your training camp and the fight.
So gbp switched to usada who charge about 80k more than vada for the testing.
No guesses for what the 100k costing guaranteed. Vada cost gbp $ so richard takes his business elsewhere....to a testing org who ive got no doubt are on the take. Why else would schaefar switch to them when they charge a **** load more??
Show us where Montoya "staunchly defended Manny's right not to take tests"? I haven't seen it. All I've seen is that he's for VADA testing for ALL fighters and no other boxing writer has done more research on PED testing than him. Why "investigate" Pacquiao's refusal when 99% of all boxers are not taking these tests? Last time he got blood tested 1 day before a fight (which was negative), he lost. We know the guy is crazy superstitious. If it's not within the rules, then he has every right to refuse. Now, Pacquiao bucked up and agreed to Floyd's testing....issue over!
I can't find any article or radio interview where Montoya stated those things that GBP's lawyers are claiming in that cease & desist letter. That letter is so specific to the point where some of it could be true. It's obvious that the lawyers wanted to stop them before anything was published. If everything in that letter are lies like the lawyers are claiming and Montoya just has an agenda to smear Floyd, GBP & USADA, then they should just release the documents already. You gotta problem with that??
You're telling me you're not even a little su****ious about this?? You are 100% behind Floyd and his USADA Testing no matter what, huh??
I am big PBF fan and I am su****ious and want to know whats really going on. But with that said I would not release a damn thing just because somebody is talking trash about me cause of something someone else told them. Hell VisionQuest asked Arum to open his books on how Manny was being paid and Arum told them to **** off he wasn't showing them *****. I agree with that unless its court ordered hell no I wouldn't just show people test results and contract agreements based off of 3rd party rumors that a reporter wants to investigate. Nobody in the real world operates like that.

Montoya SAID it to people, and they reported it to GBP. GBP then went to their lawyers.
Notice that when the lawyers said it was false (in print, no less) , Montoya has not produced a single piece of evidence, corroboration, or witness.
Notice that?
We've reached the point where bloggers can sully reputations.

He did defend it. In mailbox after mailbox. Said Manny didn't have to take what was beyond the norm because of an innuendo. In one mailbox he said he was glad Manny did that and Floyd did so to duck him.
Peterson versus Berto For the Juiced Up Championship
Let those two rubes fight one another.... there are so many meaningless titles/belts out there, they just ought to establish one more for the steroid using, juiced up fighters trying to kink the system....
