Never going to happen. It should happen, but it won't and everyone will forget about this fight in 1-2 years. They view Lara as a high risk, very low reward. No one is going to fight Lara at 154 aside from maybe Rosado, Quintana, or Molina. Lara would have a better shot at potentially getting bigger fights if he moves up to 160.

Alvarez isn't going to fight him. Kirkland isn't going to fight him. Bundrage is probably going to fight Alvarez or someone else instead after Spinks. Trout was saying he'd fight him, but since has said nothing after Lara called him out.

Lara should go to 160 and go after Martinez, Pirog, Golovkin, Geale, Quillin, etc.

He should fight the title holder that Canelo doesn't fight whether it be K9 or Trout. If he has a major belt, he increases his chances.

Yea I was about to say this, Trout said he would fight Lara but once Lara responded Trout stayed shut. I think K9 would fight Lara but my money is on K9 fighting Canelo instead. Like I said, it fits more of Canelo's criteria. He has a belt and is an old fighter which Canelo loves fighting.

Quillin said he wouldn't fight Lara (cause of the whole Cuban thing) and Idk how Lara feels about fighting Quillin. Lara been calling out Martinez for a while now and DiBella said something about "Lara needs to get past Hearns first then we'll see what we can do." And if Lara goes for Pirog, I think that's an easy W IMO.

I was gonna say Rosado is an option for Lara or even Canelo at 154 but he never mentioned Lara's name when he was calling fighters out on his post fight interview so Idk...

I Seriously Doubt It! I think it is going to be Trout...but to be honest that is a even worse match up for Canelo and would make for a boring fight...TROUT IS TOO PATIENT AND TOO SKILLED and TOO SLICK for Canelo IMO

being "Boring" has absolutely nothing to do with being a good or bad fighters, in fact many of the Top P4P Fighters are labeled "BORING" (Mayweather, Ward, Dawson, both Klitchko's) so being labeled boring in boxing today just means your too skilled for the Casual Boxing Fans To Understand Your Style lol

If is true what Sulaiman say about the fight been mandatory, then there's no other fighter that can fight for Canelo's belt other than # 1 contender Lara, if they go out their way and find someone else without paying step aside money to Lara or agreing to, they will be open for a sued which Lara's team are alredy talked about it...
