oh come on hooks...floyd fought cotto @ 154. cotto showed better boxing skills and much improved stamina. pac had the chance to fight cotto @ 154 but wanted cotto to come down to 147. the 1st cotto fight was at 143 which a lot of hard core fans did not like due to the fact that pac was fighting at 147 so why the catch wt? at 154 cotto walks through pac and obliterates him inside of 10 rounds.

all true but dont forget the weak excuses for his horrid performance. the mighty leg cramps. before the jmm fight, "god couldnt save jmm from getting ko'd" and after the fight all the excuses came raining down. and why didnt the jmm fight get made at a catch wt of 143? always the wt is in pacs favour. which is what gets my goat.

if i am not mistaken, pac is to make 8million for this fight. plus a cut from the ppv and roach will make at least 800k and arum will get around 2.5 million. these dudes are robbing pac blind. why such a paltry amt for a top shelf fighter? pac should do like floyd and oscar and leave top rank. cotto got his biggest pay day when he fought floyd. pac should leave arum and make what he deserves for putting his health on the line. i remember when gerald mcCllelan fought nigel benn. gerald got ko'd and went to the hospital, had a brain bleed and lost his eye sight. don king sent his boys to geralds room and changed his contract. shorting him by approx 300k. its important for fighters to get what they can. you never know what could happen in the ring.

Yeah, if Pacquaio wins but struggles, he should just retire while still on top. Retire while being the best in your weight class, that's how all greats should go out.
