Are you not allowed to be a pressure fighter if you go in and out?

And Marquez cut his workrate with his skill and style. This does happen.

Just because a pressure fighter's workrate is cut down but a certain style doesn't mean they suddenly are no longer a pressure fighter.

The clue is in the title, a pressure fighter is someone who applies a lot of pressure. Manny Pacquaio does absolutely that.

He of course has a lot more to his game than just pressure and output.

not neccessrily true he put decent pressure on terriortly (sp) but just found out the hard way that marquez could beat him that as well, imagine pac could have cut the ring off like that if would be a different story

You can go backwards but if you are you wouldn't be putting as much pressure as lets say a Margarito who continuously moves forward.

Forget about the size diffrence, do you think Margarito would ever back down from the style and skill of Marquez. That is a guy who gets hit in the face with a sink and keeps moving forward.

You're not the only one. Hard to call someone who can't cut off the ring and fight inside a pressure fighter.

                      Can he apply pressure? Yes.
