The more i think about the Kirkland vs Canelo drama

The more i dont blame kirkland. At first i thought it was a b1tchmade move. Then i thought about it and you know what GBP chose him for a few reasons. They could have easily just picked a Lara who would give Canelo plenty of problems to really examine where hes at. Yet they chose Kirkland an HBO friendly slugger/big puncher with limited skills that would create drama with the question "Can canelo deal with that kind of a puncher?" So why not ask for more money. In essence theyd be selling can Kirkland KO Canelo. Canelo needs a dance partner and Kirkland is the perfect Antagonist to compliment him. I think his new advisor was smart to get him out. 2.5 milli is a smart move especially for Canelos coming out PPV party.

Sorry if its more Rant than question just dont like how theyre picturing it in the media especially if he hadnt signed a contract.

so Kirkland should ask for more money because he doesnt think he can win or he knows that they are picking him because they dont think he can win? That doesnt make sense to me. Also, they picked Williams 1st and Lara is still in the running now. You cant be upset at GBP or the kid right now. Williams or Kirkland were satisfying fights for everyone

Kirkland is hurt & before his name got mentioned, he already said he wouldn't be ready to fight until October. GB tried to sell him out when he would have been less than 100% & pay him peanuts. Kirkland said if he is to fight hurt, then they have to break bread, that's what happened.

At this stage Kirkland and his advsors knew he was really the only real choice for a ppv so his market value went up. I think that the Williams fight would have been better from a fan perspective and they chose him for 2 reasons the marquee factor of his name and they were banking on the fact that Pauls chin isnt the same. I dont see them picking Lara at all unless its a "we have no other choice"even then if they did pick lara i dont see how HBO greenlights it as a PPV.

800k for Kirkland is fair. Kirkland said he was healthy on Thu and his Doc cleared him, because he was way ahead of schedule . Now he's not ready to go? He's full of ****,he just wants more money.Kirkland is way more exciting,come forward fighter then LAra and more well known, thats why they wanted him. One thing is for sure, no one can say Canelo wants easy fights

It really amazes me how any one would have any problem with any of the 5 names being mentioned as Canelo opponents. They're all obvious step ups, and more than good replacements for Paul Williams. Kirkland, Lara, Trout/Rodriguez, Bundrage. It really just looks like random hatred. It makes no sense to hate on any of these matches.

Apparently Canelo can't do nothing right. So why can't Canelo fight Kirkland just because people here want to see Canelo defeated, but I have news for you all, Canelo is the future so get used to him.

1) Kirkland got a gift in his last fight

2) Having an injured shoulder doesn't make you more valuable to a promotion.

3) If he wanted more money he shouldn't have agreed to the deal and announced it.

4) Lying and claiming an injury to get out of a fight agreement that is the best payday of your life is a punk move

5) He is taking advantage of the special circumstance that PW is freaking paralyzed and he is the only option to squeeze more money out of GB. Not a classy move.
