Hatton was a career long junior welterweight and Mayweather started at 130......you really think Mayweather was physically bigger than Hatton? up until their fight Mayweather had 7 fights at 140 or higher while Hatton fought there his entire career

Marquez agreed to move up, lol you think those two pounds made a difference? Mayweather is just better than Marquez....you dont remember Barrera, Morales, Marquez clamoring to move up to super featherweight when Mayweather was there...they moved up when he moved to 135 and 140

who do you think would have won if Marquez moved up to 130 to fight Mayweather in 1999-2002?

Sucker, smucker the shot was legal....what dumbass takes his eyes of his opponent...thats boxing 101, the first class...Karma is a ***** he got frustrated and blatantly head butted Mayweather illegally.....and got legally knocked out

Mayweather didn't force Hatton to do a thing.

Hatton pursued a fight with Floyd because Tszyu refused to fight Floyd and then right after Hatton beat him.

After that Hatton said he wanted to be the best and would move up to challenge the best. He did and he got his first loss.

Floyd forced Hatton (Hatton had only 1 fight to boot at 147) to move up in Floyd best weight division (147).

Pacquiao moved down (after the Oscar fight at 147) to Hatton best weight division (140) where he was undefeated and ko him in 2.

            See the big difference here.

No amount of Filipino netcafe love will ever justify Pac's embarrassing fraudulent run over 135. Bradley will be his best win if he takes it.

Nobody twisted Hattons arm to go up to 147, he went up and Floyd came down. Just like Pacquiao and DLH, nobody twisted DLH's arm to come down to 147.

If you're comparing hype versus skills, I'd say that award clearly goes to Tye Fields

Hmn...nobody twisted. Did anybody twisted Cotto's arm to fight Pac at 145? Hmn....at least Cotto moved down 1 lb and gave a leveling field against smaller Pac. Pac moved down to Hattons best weight. While Floyd stayed to his division.

Why would Pacquiao need 2 lbs to beat Cotto unless Roach thought he needed those few pounds? Then Cotto couldn't get an in-house rematch so he let his contract expire. Then you'll never guess what happens...get this...Cotto leaves Top Rank and earns more money than he ever has in his life and he even gets to fight coward Floyd who had been ducking him since 2006 right? How about that? Crazy stuff.
