People who don't like Pacquiao thinks he is overrated.
People who loves Pacquiao thinks he is one of the best.

I think that just leave it be...let the world argue by itself. In my humble opinion, to be OVER-RATED he must first be RATED. Some fighters are not even RATED, so at least that's got to count on something. hehe.

I am neutral on this one...simply put he has accomplished many things that many boxers would be envious to be in his position.

In this day and age of media hype, social media, internet and the speed of information going back and forth in a blink of an eye, I would say ALL BOXERS in this era are overrated to promote fights.

But if we backtrack on this overused and abused term in "overrated", I think that he did accomplish a lot of things magnificently. So why not just leave it be? Let it be...the fact that we're all talking about it meant he is there somewhere. No one ever goes to the ring winning 50+ fights without getting their due credits.

I don't care, any fighter going 50+ wins and win the way he did will ever live up to the expectations of all fans. There will be "haters" and there will be "fans" and most of us here are mere posters who like to argue and are armchair boxing historians.

It's ok to be a fan or not to be a fan. One thing we can't discredit - Pacquiao is one memorable fighter in our era, just like the big names with Mayweather, JMM, DLH...

pacquiao is underrated, he has accomplished much more than for example any other active fighter(roy jones, holyfield excluded), gives you exciting fight after exciting fight(his most boring fight was vs mosley) and yet somehow a chump like mayweather get more attention, if anything floyds the overrated one

fight once a year vs fat marquez and ortiz and in those same years it is being argued that he should be the consensus p4p #1 despite pacquiao having similar, if not better quality aswell as higher quantity in opponents? that's overrated

Personally I feel like Mike Tyson is not only the most overrated fighter of the past 25 years he is also one of the most overrated boxers of all time.

Pac has a very solid resume and beat some great fighters.

Floyd even rates Pac as the best if you look at the timeline of events.
When Pac was beating the Barreras and Morales of this world, Floyd has it on record that he considered Pac no2 behind him. There was no PED accusations at this point.

Fast forward a few years and Pac starts beating common opponents better than he could ever dream of, regardless of CW, thats when Floyd thought Pac was unbelievable and on PEDS. Floyd knows the ony way he'd beat the Cottos of this world and Margartios of this world like Pac did, is with PED use, not CW.

Shows you that Pac is rated the best cos he is...floyd thinks it as well, he finds it hard to disguise his true feelings he wears his heart on his sleeve.

Floyds knows he would still get a bloody nose and lose many many rounds in a controversial win even if he drained Cotto to 145. Hes knows Cotto would push him to the very wire regardless of weight, being it 145, 147 or 160.
Floyd must be tempted to use PEDS, cos he knows that is the only way hed beat Cotto like Pac did.

Thats why floyd thinks pac is the best.

His performances in my view were because of weight draining opponents not PED use , I personally dont think he is on anything but in todays climate you never know because he has not been OST tested and trys hard to avoid being tested .

looking ordinary against old Mosley and robbing JMM and then ducking Cotto without a CW to fight a smaller JW only concretes how Pac has manipulated the weights and conditions to suit himself , he chose Bradley as a showcase because he has a chance to dominate the smaller man , he would have struggled again with a full fledged WW and that would not have gone down well , and Cotto at 154 forget about it Pac wants nothing to do with that lol .
Pure jealousy just like your rich coward boy. You can't overrate your boy above Pacquiao because your boy resume and accomplishments look like ***** compare to Pacquaio. So the best thing you can do for your boy is to underrate Pacquiao.

Floyd thinks what Pac has done can only be achieved by PED use, not CWs. Floyd isnt even sure he can beat Sergio by draining him down to 154.

Floyd thinks he could only do what Pac did to Cotto and margarito if he used Peds like Pac supposedly did. When Floyd used to admire Pac beating Barrera and Morales he knew he was watching the best fighter on the planet. When he saw Pac beat hatton and DLH, he believed he was watching a drug cheat, who also happened to be the best fighter.
