Like i said many dont agree with me that Cotto is a HOFer (never said first ballot to be clear) and thats fine they dont think he is cause they dont think his wins are that good as you dont. But there are many who do. So why is it hard to accept that there are those who think pre-Diaz Pac is a HOFer and those who dont think his wins are worthy enough. He had good wins and ok ill call MAB a great win but he lost to prime Morales and then fought a shot fighter the next two times and i am one of those who think JMM is 2-0-1 with Pac. So yes i watched boxing back then but i just dont agree with you and vice versa.
This is similar to Cris Carter and the hall, in a sense. Some say he is good enough to get in and im one of them but he isnt in..yet. Which means some dont think he was good enough.
My beef is that if you think Pac is a HOF'er or not or if Cotto is a HOF'er or not.
You don't know what my opinion of Cotto wins are TBH.
My beef is think that Cotto is a HOF'er AND Pac isn't pre Diaz.
This isn't anything like a damn Carter and football crap.
Win for win and accomplishments for accomplishments tell me how Cotto is a HOF'er and Pac wasn't pre Diaz...Win for win and accomplishments for accomplishments. Or how do you consider HOF?Comment

opinions without any evidence or basis. At lest come at us with some facts not some opinion based on floyd's baseless assertions that have been debunked several times already.Comment

yea i know, but most fighters that eventually become professional greats, you see the signs while their in the amatuers or early on in their pro careers....For example everyone new Sugar Ray Leonard, Pernell Whitaker, Michael Spinks, Roy Jones, their are some that werent the best ams....like Trinidad but we knew he'd be special
Manny kinda came out of no where...I guess thats where the phenomenon comes from
Maybe therein lies his greatness, to come out of nowhere and achieve what he has as opposed to most of the American fighters who were expected to be great but actually under achieved. Does anybody remember Ed Hopson, Panchito Bojado, Mark Breland, just to name a few.Comment

It's interesting how you name mostly American fighters. Maybe therein lies your answer. American fighters get the most exposure and most hype when it comes to this sport. So how can you really expect someone from a third workd developing country compete with the same expectations and public perception that these young Americans get.
