Definitely up there on my list of guys that came to give the people what they wanted to see.

I think his defensive flaws actually made a lot of people overlook how crafty of a brawler Paul Williams was. He was a come forward guy, but he was a beauty to watch. I'm never one to entertain the "ducker" talks, but Paul Williams was definitely one of the most feared fighters coming up, especially at 147

I liked Paul Williams fights since i saw him fight Sharmba Mitchell. Sharmba was looking helpless and falling all over Paul. Paul just got up and showed no remorse and kept punching. i became an instant fan.

i always dreamed of a williams vs cotto match up. my goodness this would have been an incredible fight. i always picked paul in a close decision.

Same although I actually always though that Williams would stop Cotto. Too much pressure from a very large southpaw with an iron chin. Cotto would have his moments but I dont see Cotto hurting Paul and Cotto would eventually get broken down as he has in the past.
