    Paul Williams appreciation thread

Terrible that he may never be able to get in the ring again- but he gave us some great moments in boxing. I remember how happy I was when he beat Margarito, and his rematch KO of Quintana was amazing.

Yeah, it sucks. Whether you're a fan or not it's terrible.

Absolutely loved him, loved his style, his heart. Was no doubt my favorite fighter to watch. The hate was unnecessary. I'll never forget his days of glory, man, never.

i was HOPING for p-will to get his chance @ ww.... i mean, the dude was begging for fights in 3 divisions...

i have no doubt in my mind that if he was given the shot, he wouldve shaken up the WW division...

his conditioning, punch volume, chin, & willingness to trade made his fights a joy to watch....

              hoping for a miracle.

I wasn't a big Punisher fan, but I did appreciate his style, heart and willingness to fight.
I can honestly say it was heartbreaking to hear about his accident.
Specially since he was going into 1 of his biggest fights.

With medicine and technology advancing rapidly, hopefully in the near future they find a way to help him walk again.

His first fight with Martinez was a testament to his greatness. Love the guy. One of the first fighters I started following when I got into boxing. Forget fighting again. Just pray he may be able to walk.
