    calzaghe is one of the greatest cherry picking duckers in the history of the sport.

    His whole career he hid out in europe & 168 while roy & bernard where one division below & above him. He only came out to play after roy & bernard where in their 40s yet where able to put him on his arse.

    Even worse, he retired just when his division started getting "super."

    UNDEFEATED RECORDS = SU****IOUSNESS

        entitled to your opinion but think the other side of the coin and try to picture Ward against a Southpaw who has equal speed to him, is a great boxer and throws 1000 punches a fight. Calzaghe was a strong mofo himself and wouldn't be bullied on inside.

        He retired because he was 37 and taking coke.

          Ward would have been to clever and he would have nullified Calzaghe's puch output by outboxing him.

            Ok.. sounds good in theory..

            But who has Ward outboxed who is Calzaghe's level? I'll put the names out so you don't forget.
            Miranda, Kessler, Green, Bika, Abraham, Froch.

            Calzaghe and Ward are born winners, I think Calzaghe went 20+ odd years without losing a single fight, Ward hasn't lost since he was 11 or so either.

                  Ward has fought some great fighters after 25 fights, Calzaghe was fighting 10 year olds after he has 25 fights

                    Calzaghe=Bute

                    Bute could've taken the exact same path that Joe did but didn't. Could've made 20 title defenses against bums, stayed in his home country, beaten a 40 year old Ward and have gone 46-0.

                      ive been saying this for a long long long time and i fully agree with you. Any fighter can stay in the home town and box bums and defend a world title 15 times
