we take little things in life for granted like being able to just stand up and walk to the refrigerator all that can change in a blink of an eye

Editted my post because people are twisting my words and trying to turn this into a Floyd discussion. Show some respect for PWill and save your Floyd comments for another thread.

Horrible news. Fighters and athletes in general should just stay off motorbikes IMO, silly as it sounds.

**** unbelievable.....one of my favorites, one of the nicest fighters i've been able to meet before, every time you'd seem him he had a big smile on his face....ughhh

there are only a few fighters right now who I can name that I know i have an emotional investment in, and Paul is definitely def one of them. I'm sure plenty others watched him from his tv debut on FNF and followed his journey since - hard not to notice a 6'2" welterweight throwing 100 punches a round.

Taller than Hearns, trying to fight like Chavez.. with the defense of Mayorga, it made his career very fun to follow and impossible, for me at least, to not take to liking a guy, who even though his career is now cut short, left nothing in the ring.....he threw enough punches for 3 careers. get well punisher.

As I said in another thread:

Hopefully the spirit of Willie Pep is with him. For those that don't know Pep was involved in a plane crash that people lost their lives in. He miraculously survived and it was said by doctors that his career was done after suffering major injuries to his back, ARM, leg, and neck. To the world's surprise he would return back to boxing some months later to become a top fighter again. Hopefully Paul Williams can do the same.

I remember when Williams was still a prospect and beat Prime Luis Resto Jr. outside in the Vegas heat. Tall feat. Good **** Punisher.
