no buddy, what im saying is that there are loads of so called fans who run fighters down only to put them on a superhero pedestal after a good performance thats all.
i sometimes think that the lesser experienced fans are just ******.
take carl froch for example, i read on here a number of comments in the past couple of years from people who say"this fellahs rubbish" or "this bloke wont get throught the super six" yes, it was a lack lustre performance against dirrell but, if you look back you will see dirrell wouldnt fight.
nobody can say froch never wants to fight.
in most part dominated by taylor(who beat the great bhop twice!) but only to find the finishing blows after grinding down his man.
a good performance with kessler was a pick em fight despite the outcome and people were still saying" this geezer cant box" and then batters abraham with excellent skill.
then....you guessed it! they are saying "he has excellent boxing skill"
this wasnt evident in the ward fight but, it was just a bad night for carl as he never followed the plan.
i do believe ward was going to win that night but, it could have been alot harder based on carls skill,determination,ability to absorb massive shots as well as deliver them.
people then began to revert back to what they were saying before...."froch is ****".
and then last saturday? and now look.....hes up there on everyones list, unlike before.
