168 lbs division.. how deep is it?

If Dawson comes down with no adverse effects you're looking at a division with

    Ward
    Dawson
    Froch
    Kessler
    Dirrell
    Bute
    Johnson (if he stays)
    Bika
    Pavlik
    Abraham

then you got the lesser knowns like Rodriguez, Stieglitz... etc

    Prospects DeGale, Groves, Anthony Dirrell..

How many Weight divisions do you think are better?

Add to that list Anthony Dirrell, Thomas Oosthuizen, Edwin Rodriguez. And Abraham is still a threat to the less experienced fighters.

its deep, but bar a couple of fights its already been pretty much sorted out (the top half of the rankings anyway). It needs the young up and comers to get into the mix, and hopefully Dawson hangs around which he might not be able to do due to the weight

Probably the best division right now.

With one fight in two years, and roughly three since he turned pro, and now his brother recovering from injury, might be awhile.

I expect him to get clipped bad in a loss sooner than later and fade away to further irrelevance.

Other than that, 168 is very good with new faces coming up. 175 is also good and will get better as these guys rise.

122 is the spot to watch. It's got a crew coming together that is really mouth watering.

he's so fecking frustrating to watch. Id love him to reach his potential, there's glimpses of brilliance, but he seems to have no confidence in his own abilities. Great handspeed and reflexes, late in the Froch fight he was slipping punches and give Carl a few solid shots in return. But he just doesnt belong in a ring, he ****s himself when someone goes after him. Cant stand all the falling over as soon as his opponent might land a punch. And the running (literally)

Hopefully Dirrel gets over his fear or lack of confidence or whatever the **** is wrong with him and becomes a major player, but i just cant see it happening

Can't think of a better division. 154 comes second.

Lara, Mayweather, Canelo, Cotto, Williams, Kirkland, Molina, Vanes, Rodriguez, Kirkland, Bundrage, Trout.

The lower tier guys/washed up fighters/old fighters, Mundine,Rhodes, Mosley, Margarito, Quintana, Spinks, Cintron, Gomez.

His slip to the floor routine is God awful. When he's on, he's fun to watch but he's been managed SO poorly and never really settled into being a pro. AA was coming on strong late and if he hadn't got himself DQ'd we might have gotten either a) Dirrell stretched or b) Dirrell on his way to doing big things with the sort of placing win he needed. Instead, we got Dr. Shaw Hi and Daryl Cunningham.

                    Sucks.

Been following him since the amateurs. Still waiting.
