How come the cruiserweight division is so overlooked?

Its the most overlooked and underrated division? I mean its the division before the hw division, theres really good fighters and exciting fights in the future.

I like the division even though it's a relatively new division with not much history.

The FOTY so far came from the CW division for me with Huck/Afolabi II that was a great fight hope they make the trilogy.

It's europe's division, historically. Americans don't want to bother with them.

Saying that, I LOVE cruiser. It's got a lot of talent and we've got a ton of cracking fights the past few years at 200lbs. So many good fighters; Afolabi, Cunningham, Hernandez, Huck, Lebedev, Tarver, Wlodarczyk, ect. I hope Rakhim Chakhkiev tries to be become unified champ before moving up to heavyweight.

I think it's because people feel like their neighbour could become champion there's a lot of talent just not a popular enough fighter in the division to bring some more excitement to it

Because it's a bogus phony weight class invented for the sole purpose of lining the pockets of alphafraud organizations with more sanctioning fees.

Overlooked? More like no one is looking at all.
