Sad, sad news. He wasn't one of my faves but I always appreciated his warrior spirit. This guy gave it his all in the ring. The fights with Ayala were classics. He, Romero, Ayala, and Carbajal gave the lower weight classes lots of exposure and put little guys on the map in the 90s. RIP Johnny.

I'm not saying he did either, but let's say he did off himself, that still doesn't give anyone reason to **** on him. He was battling so many personal demons, had bipolar disorder, and just was going through things that would have made a lesser man off themselves a long time ago.Im just saying you don't know the circumstances. I hope he didn't kill himself too but. Its easy to say someone's a ***** when you haven't ever been in their shoes. Even if he did off himself he no *****. He's a 5 time, 3 division world champion with over 60 + fights.
I also hate these bible gripping clowns who state that because someone kills themselves they are in hell.
If those same idiot read the bible, then they would know that one of the greatest men in the bible, Sampson, who was know for his strength, killed himself, as did King Saul. Even though they ended there lives, the bible still speaks highly of them even after there death.
Sorry for the religious spill, but as someone who has volunteered and helped people with mental disorders, it really bothers me when people try to **** on people who are suffering with such illnesses.....nevermind the fact that Tapia was a warrior and 100 times the man these clowns on NSB will ever be.Comment
