How do you feel about Froch-Cleverly?

Since Ward is busy and Bute needs to re-build I think this fight would make sense before the Kessler rematch.

Get a title at 175. Nice little notch on his belt.

Are there any roadblocks? Are they friends or perhaps have rival or the same promoter.

why? What purpose does this serve? Kessler weighed only 169 pounds at his light heavyweight debut against Green, he will have no problems fighting froch at 168 in a massive fight.

Froch has stated categorically he isn't moving up. I suspect his trainer has warned him that while he may have a great chin at 168 the same might not be true in a higher weight class.

To get a title at 175.

Kessler weighed 171.75 Green weighed 169.

But yeah they should fight at 168. I just want to see Froch capture a title at 175.

But Cleverly is featherfisted at 175. I'm not talking about a permanent move. Just one fight.

Froch is with Sky Sports and Cleverly is with BoxNation so I doubt that happens.

Don't think Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren are on speaking terms either at the moment.

Won't happen clash of promoters (who would work together if it made sense) rival networks (Froch will want sky sports and warren will want boxnation) also clev has been protected I don't believe warren will throw him froch's way.

Would be ironic to see what happens if clev calls out Froch because this is exactly the same situation Froch was in against calzaghe when he claimed he ducked him. So if Froch refuses you can be sure clev and the whole of Wales will blast him for it kinda how he blasted calzaghe

Frank Warren, Cleverley's promoter offered the fight to Froch after he lost to Ward and also said on Saturday prior to the fight that offer still stood if froch lost to Bute, after the fight i'm not so sure they would want it.

It is sad but yeah the clash of networks will probably be the main reason this fight won't happen. Give it 2 years maybe this fight could happen. Won't be happening anytime soon.

If Calzaghe had fought Froch when Froch called him out he would have got beat down badly. I think the same would happen to Cleverly if he fought Froch now.

He is better off looking elsewhere like Froch did. Who would have thought a few years ago Froch would be where he is right now. Boxing is a funny old game. Timing is crucial.
