So if you follow the reasoning behind Pacquiao being #1 though Mayweather is the superior fighter, it's a bit strange?, I guess until Ward gets beat he can keep fighting Allen Greens over and over, avoiding his buddy Dirrell (Who I think would win).
I mean Bute was #1 for a time without fighting anyone, but I guess as long as Ward has that victory and Froch can keep beating the top guys while he hides in his hometown, doing Honda flying headbutts all the time, he can stay pretty at the top, because it's not beating the best competition it's all about triangle theories of (Froch > Bute, so Ward > Bute)
