Bute hit Froch with a few clean shots early on. Once he saw that Froch was walking right through them, his confidence plummeted. Froch had it won from then on! Now I wish he would call out Calslappy again. That would be huge! IMO, Froch has already surpassed Joke as the best 168 fighter to come out of the UK. His resume eclipses that of Calslappy by far. Froch is the definition of throwback. Takes on all comers and has the heart of a lion. Hated Froch when he first hit the spotlight but I have to admit he won me over during this past year.

Fair play to Froch, I thought he would lose, but I underestimated the inability of Bute to take a half decent shot.

Only fights out there are rematches with Kessler and Dirrell (in a neutral venue). He lost both IMO.

No point going after Ward, he will get schooled again.

I agree but Bute had a immediete rematch clause in their contract in case he were to lose. Supposed to be in Montreal as well. Sadfully Kessler/Froch II is gonna have to wait.

There was a significant moment in the 2nd round (I believe), Bute landed one of those solid left uppercut's to the body, what happened? Froch smiled at him, walked forward and cracked him in the face.

Bute never lost his confidence... what happened was, he got hit with a few too many big shots and he lost his legs... it was game over from that point on.
