I think Bute can bounce back mentally but my concern is if physically he can take a punch from world class opposition.

If he rematches him again right away and gets beat I'm sure it'll be broken. If he comes back with some good wins and fights a top fighter and wins then I'm guessing he's okay only time will tell

No. But its going to appear that way.

What's going to happen is he will be outclassed again by tougher competition. It's won't be because he's ruined. Its because he's not an elite fighter.


He can still handle the 5-20 th ranked guys in the division though.

I think he'll struggle to get back to his previous level of confidence or status. He's still good enough to beat a lot of good fighters though.

So then why is Bute done? Khan got destroyed much worse against a lesser quality fighter than Froch. He has bounced back and its possible Bute can too.
