I remember saying how Bute was overated and never fought anybody while people were hyping him up and at the same time they were *****ting on Berto claiming Berto never fought anyone even though Berto fought far better opposition then Bute like David Estrada,Carlos Quintana,Steve Forbes and Luis Collazo.

Froch may do better as he does adjust, but so will Ward. They've both "seen" each other now. I feel Dirrell does deserve a shot. He battered AA and i personally felt he beat Froch.

That or Froch vs Pavlik, or a Froch vs Kessler rematch (very fun fight)

i agree i had dirrel beating both but he has been absent for too long.

I called this - said Bute was all hype and Saturday night would show it.

I thought Froch would beat him comfortably - wasn't expecting him to stop him in 5 but thought he'd most likely get stopped around 8 or 10.

Bute was a paper champ and I've said it for ages that looking at him - he wouldn't live the other guys and this has been proven.

Great fight by Froch. I'm in shock ... Never would I've thouth that Bute would look like a kindergarden kid.

I just hope he will get up from this fight. Froch said that he understoud why Bute got a lot of opponents KO by his left and that being cought twice, he had to ''finish'' him soon and leave him no chance. He did that perfectly and made it look easy.

It was interresting to hear Bute trainer at the end of the third round : '' hope you know you're getting knocked out, you know ? You're staying too much in the rope '' and at the end of the fourth : '' I give you one minute ... ''

This defeat will make Bute a better fighter ...

Maybe I'm crazy but I think Bute - Ward would be more competitive than this was. Just style wise. Bute was countering beautifully and catching him clean...it's just Froch has a damn CHIN. Not many at 168 take that many clean counter lefts from Bute and not even flinch. Testament to Froch. Froch would eat a huge left on his way in every time. Froch manned the eff up an just beast mode'd Bute.

In 5 rounds, great job by Froch. I thought its gonna last the distance. I can see Sergio M. knocking out Bute too but at later rounds.
