Froch has grit!! Toughest fighter at 168!!

But Froch still has a big mouth. When asked if Bute should exercise his rematch clause, Froch said Bute should basically retire after taking a huge beating. Then when asked if he wanted a rematch with Ward, he avoided answering and just said he had a bad night. Sorry..not a fan.

This electrifying version of Froch makes me wonder if this version faced Calzaghee, what would happen. He was a monster today.

I wouldnt say his chin was exposed as more his defence! He took bombs. And I agree with some of the comments, Bute looked shell shocked even before the fight.
But even back home I cant see him beating Froch.
Awsome fight/battering though and a top atmosphere.

salute for the win. But I'm not going crazy...Froch earned it & owned it in the ring. I'm surprised that bute could not adjust to such a basic tactic. Carl would jab jab jab...or maybe he wouldn't & then he would lunge fwd just jumping in throwing a wild barrage of punches. Bute just kept backing up & catching those shots. I didn't get it. Maybe Lucian isn't strong enough physically to deal w/ the bull rushes. But that's all I saw. & apprently that's all it took to end the night.

I saw bute try to set Froch up & catch him w/ a hook on the inside...But carl kept throwing punches in bunches. He does it in almost all his fights. But I usually only see it wen he gets desperate. This time he did it from the onset...or at least after he got caught in the 1st w/ the left. But big ups to Frochy for the vickie...I just thought a Bute would be able to adjust much better than he did.
