I knew Froch's aggression, toughness and workrate would cause Bute problems but no way did i expect Froch to hurt him that early.

Bute's defense moreso than his chin are to blame. He took alot of hard shots and still was standing but he couldn't get out of the way of Froch's shots and Froch isn't guy you can take shots off consistently throughout the rounds.

Well done Froch.
