And better than Hopkins' MW reign that doesn't involve blown WWs while you're at it.

It does make me chuckle at how many Fat Yanks trumpet Hopkins' MW reign as seemingly in a different league to Calzaghes'. If it's better, it's still not stellar.

As for people rubbishing Calzaghe's resume, I think people forget he actually beat Rick Thornberry. THE Rick Thornberry.

undefeated glen johnson, echols, undefeated trinidad, undefeated roy jones, joppy, eastman, even blown up oscar is a decent win, yep way better than calzaghe's 168 resume any way you slice it.

Trinidad and Oscar are blown up... the rest are good, but they're still nothing to crow about are they?

And RJJ? The guy gets props for LOSING?

Hopkins MW run was relatively weak.

But it was certinaly better than Joe's at 168.

Trinidad was the best MW in the world though, besides Hopkins.

He was a legit, proven MW.

                    Oscar? Absolutely not.

But Trinidad was a great win.
